Chris Conn
CEO | Managing Director

My professional journey has been deeply rooted in the healthcare sector since 2001, commencing with my role as an Emergency Medical Technician. I gained invaluable experience working with at-risk youth in an outdoor experiential behavioral health program. In 2010, I established Omega Life Fitness, a specialized functional training facility in Birmingham catering to diverse populations, including members of the PGA Tour.

Following my entrepreneurial venture, I transitioned to a Director-level position at Spero Recovery, a prominent provider of drug and alcohol recovery services boasting a continuum of care with over 100 beds. This encompassed residential, outpatient, and sober living programs. Subsequently, I immersed myself into the realms of healthcare M&A and compliance, gaining comprehensive insights into the industry.

After a period of self-reflection lasting six months, I felt a compelling call to return to direct client care. Notably, Medicaid played a pivotal role in my personal journey when I faced homelessness in Minneapolis, MN. NuWay, the largest Medicaid Drug & Alcohol treatment services provider in Minnesota, provided me with essential support—safe housing, treatment, therapy, and the tools necessary for my personal transformation.

Motivated by the observed gaps in Medicaid mental health services in Colorado, my mission is to bridge the disparity by bringing the same caliber of services accessible to commercial insurance payers to the Colorado Medicaid population.
